Thoma began his culinary journey career in 1991 with D’Amico and Partners, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become a sous chef before venturing out on his own. His visionary approach to hospitality earned him the Star Tribune’s “Restaurateur of the Year” award in 2003, followed by Mpls/St. Paul Magazine’s prestigious “Restaurateur of the Year” recognition in 2009.
