Peaches
Cook time
Up to 3 hours
Serving size
6 servings
Ingredients
¼ cup Sugar
¼ Water
1 cup Cherries
Pitted 2 Ripe Peaches
2 tsp Lemon Juice
Divided ½ cup Whole Milk Yogurt Vanilla or Plain
Quick Tip
No kids in the house? Add a splash of peach schnapps or fruit flavored vodka.
Recipe Preparation
Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan. Set over medium-low heat and cook until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
Halve each peach and discard the pits. Place three of the halves in the jar of a blender with 1 to 2 tablespoons of the simple syrup (depending on how sweet your peaches are) and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Pulse until mostly smooth. Pour into a small bowl. Cut the remaining half into small pieces and add to the puree.
Add the pitted cherries to the blender jar with 1 to 2 tablespoons of the simple syrup (depending on how sweet your cherries are) and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Pulse until mostly smooth with some texture.
Alternately spoon the yogurt and the peach and cherry purees into each ice pop mold. Use a skewer to create a fun swirl effect. Place the Ice Pop Set into the freezer until completely frozen. Enjoy on a stick or directly out of the mold. (Note: If using popsicle sticks, wait an hour or two for the mixture to set so your sticks don’t sink to the bottom.)
