Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract

Ingredients

  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 1 pint half-and-half
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Quick Tip

To enhance any flavor of ice cream, add two teaspoons of Pure Vanilla Extract to your favorite recipe.

Recipe Preparation

  1. This recipe uses a homemade ice-cream maker. We recommend Kitchen-Aid or Cuisinart.
  2. Mix together all ingredients until sugar begins to dissolve. Follow manufacturer's directions to churn and freeze ice cream.

  4. Organic Fairtrade Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla or Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Bean Paste can be used in place of the Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract.
