Young chefs, ages 16 to 18, will work with two Sioux Falls chefs on day one to create a recipe for judging at the end of the week. Assisted by Chef Lizzie and Chef Michael, the participants will plan the logistics and prep for success, cooking techniques and presentation styles throughout the week. Two young chefs will be selected to be finalists to compete on Saturday’s Chopped-Style Championship Competition, held on Saturday, August 10th. The winning young chef will win a valued prize of $350 and be featured in Plum’s Cooking Company press!
This is a great opportunity for young chefs to get a taste of what the real-life culinary world is all about!
